Joju is proud to be part of a movement to provide clean energy, reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. We are enablers and change makers. We’ve brought solar to social housing lowering bills for those in fuel poverty, and installed electric vehicle infrastructure for people who don’t have driveways… and don’t even have electric cars yet.
Over twenty years we’ve installed panels on homes, schools, factories, warehouses, hospitals, churches, sports stadiums, cathedrals, palaces, police stations and more. We care about what we build and there is a clear reason why we build it. Whilst governments have come and gone, and policies have been both supportive and offensive, we have continued our mission regardless. Whilst the environmental benefits were clear all along, it used to be that solar installations required subsidies. Now, solar power provides some of the cheapest energy available. We are arriving at the tipping point of the renewable energy revolution.
As we stepped into the solar space when it was still a nascent sector, becoming the first accredited installer in London, so we joined the EV sector in its infancy as we realised the importance of storing and shifting intermittently generated renewable energy. And as with solar, due to our passion and expertise we’ve become one of the most recognised EVCP installers in the country, working with nearly 100 public authorities, major charge point operators and utility companies, as well as being recognised as national Contractor of the Year three times.
All of this work is thanks to organisations and individuals who have dared to step into the new world of clean energy… who have been the first to adopt new technologies and have been unafraid to embrace change. They have been carried forward by the passion, expertise, openness, dedication and friendliness of the Joju team who genuinely care about what they do, and the customers they serve.
We compete by solving problems others flee from. To us, a problem is a challenge not a barrier. We embrace competition. It drives us to be better and more efficient. We compete with expertise, openness, honesty, and quality.
Twenty years have passed, but this is still the beginning of the journey. Combined with our goal to see the complete conversion of the transport system to electric power, and to install solar on as many appropriate surfaces as possible, is our commitment to make sure the infrastructure installed is built to last and then maintained to make sure it works effectively for as many years as possible. We want to see the panels we installed twenty years ago still operating effectively in twenty years’ time.
A sincere thank you to the entire team for the parts they have played in making all this happen.
Let the adventure continue.
