Come see us at Homes 2016

Come see Joju at stand H125B at Homes 2016 at Olympia, November 16th-17th

Earlier this year the UK Government announced a £5 billion boost to ensure a million homes are built by 2020. This week (16th -17th November) housing professionals from all over the UK will attend Homes 2016 (now in its fifth year) at London Olympia to debate and discuss on how to deliver and meet the Government’s pledge. And we’re proud to say that Joju will be attending.

Homes is the UK’s leading industry event to bring housing, local government, housebuilders, architects, development, asset management and procurement professionals together to create personal and business opportunties, which will improve housing for communities all over the UK.

Following Brexit it is essential that housing providers don’t panic but instead become more efficient and more prudent in the decisions they make. Now more than ever it is essential that people stick with the current Public Contracts Regulations 2015 in England and Wales and the Procurement Reform Act (Scotland) 2014 and not panic due to a crackdown on perceived EU red tape.  The weaker exchange rates also means that imported goods are becoming more expensive which means there is an opportunity for councils and housing associations to mitigate the rising cost by procurement through existing frameworks to ensure they are getting the best prices possible. Now more than ever is the time to look around for the best prices.

There is a pressure to build homes more efficiently and effectively. Higher energy efficiency standards and an increasing need to reduce carbon emissions and fuel poverty means that councils and housing associations should be considering low carbon energy solutions (like solar PV, LED lighting and home battery storage) at the planning and construction stage. At Joju we believe we can offer and work with councils and housing associations to make this possible and create housing for the future, which is fairer for all and better for both people and the planet.

We will be located in the Fusion 21 Pavillion at stand H125B where we can discuss our services and offers in solar PV, LED energy efficient lighting, home battery and storage, and electric vehicle charging. If you would like to attend the event then you can do so as our guest by registering here.

We look forward to welcoming you.
